Call for Pre-Conference Workshop Proposals (Open to IASLC Members ONLY)

The WCLC 2024 Program Committee is excited to announce the call for Pre-Conference Workshop proposals, which is only open to IASLC Members. Pre-Conference Workshops will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, before the official opening of the Conference. We invite passionate and knowledgeable IASLC Members (individuals or groups) to submit proposals that will engage, educate, and inspire our diverse audience. Workshops are normally between 1.5 hours and 2 hours in length and are open for all registered WCLC 2024 delegates to attend.

Organizing and presenting a hands-on workshop at WCLC 2024 is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise, connect with like-minded professionals, contribute to the success of WCLC, and help IASLC in their goal of ‘Conquering Lung and Other Thoracic Cancers Worldwide in the 21st Century’.

We welcome proposals for workshops in various interactive, engaging, and preferably hands-on formats, including but not limited to:

  1. Technical Workshops: Hands-on workshops focusing on specific tools, technologies, or methodologies.
  2. Interactive Demonstrations: Practical demonstrations of innovative products or solutions.
  3. Skill-building Workshops: Workshops that teach new skills or enhance existing ones.
  4. Panel Discussions: Interactive discussions on relevant topics with multiple experts not currently represented in the program.

TIMELINE

All proposals must be submitted online. Workshop submissions are due by February 29, 2024, for consideration, and submission acceptance notifications will be sent no later than March 31, 2024. Workshop space is limited, and it is possible that not all proposals can be accommodated.
